Happy Thanksgiving!

Today was Thanksgiving for those of us here in Canada, and I had grand plans of posting photos of our scrumptious meal (which we actually had yesterday), but unfortunately it didn’t survive long enough for that to happen. Instead, I’ll post some photos of what we did with our gorgeous holiday Monday.

We met my brother, my niece, and their dog Buster at our favorite dog park. Oddly enough, the kids saw a movie yesterday that had been partially filmed there (Vancouver has become a popular location for the movie industry). The park itself is built on the city’s former garbage dump, which gives me hope that some of our biggest messes might not be totally unfixable. The kids dote on their little cousin, and never like to be very far from her side. Princess similarly adores her canine cousin, who she happily played chase with the entire time.Here are some photos of the plant life in the park:
